You may choose either one of the line of business.
I have Principal Line and Supplementary Line in my postpaid account. Which line of business should I choose when signing up?
You are required to choose "Postpaid-Principal Line" while signing up. This is because Supplementary Line will have limited access to the online services.
I have multiple Principal Line in my postpaid account. Will my other Principal Line able to sign up with a different Online ID?
No, one account holder will have only one Online ID.
I am not the registered owner of the postpaid account but I am using one of the PRINCIPAL lines. Do I have access to Maxis Online Account?
Only the registered owner is allowed to sign up and access to any Maxis online services.
What is Temporary Authentication Code (TAC)?
TAC is a unique 6 digit code that is sent via SMS to validate your registered mobile number for verification.
I’ve keyed in all my details as required. Why am I not getting the TAC?
Please check and ensure the format of your mobile number is 60xxxxxxxxx (e.g. 6012123457).
When do I receive TAC?
You will receive the TAC within few minutes after you entered your mobile number. You may click on "Resend TAC" if you did not receive the TAC after 5 minutes.
Why do I need the TAC?
This is part of the authentication method for the purpose of identifying our customers when activating their Online Service.
Is there an expiry date for the TAC?
Yes, the TAC is valid for 5 minutes.
Do I have to enter TAC for every session?
No. This is only required during sign up and password reset.
What is Secure Keyword?
It is an identification keyword that you are accessing to your account when logging in to our website and/or mobile applications.
Why do I have to wait to resend verification email?
Multiple resend to same email within short period of time may cause the verification email go to spam or junk mail. With the interval, it allows the latest email to reach your mailbox to avoid confusion.
I clicked on the resend verification email and I received 2 emails from Maxis. Which email should I activate?
There is only 1 email with a working activation link. You should activate with the latest verification email that you received.
Why do I need to wait for 30 minutes when my sign up is failed?
This is a security feature to ensure that our customer data is protected.
